Patches’s story

This is Patches aka CloePatches. 17 years ago my son brought this lil tiny kitten girl to live with us. Since day one she would have sass. Never wanted to be out of control. Patches was supposed to be my son’s. But 17 years later she remains with me. I guess she was always meant to be momma’s girl.

She never really grew much. Everyone always thought she was still a kitten, with her lively spirit and talkative nature. And yes, she would always try to talk words. She really had spunk. She loved to dance with me. I would sing and dance with her and it never annoyed her — actually she loved it. Her tail would go up every time. And Patches would always kiss my nose, whenever I said kiss kiss.

Dr. McCaffery, by the way, was great. She really let her pass on over the rainbow bridge with dignity and grace. Smokey and I will miss her dearly. Enjoy heaven my sweet lil CloePatches… I love you.
