Job Summary
The Client Care Coordinator is often the first person a family speaks with — sometimes on the hardest day they have had in years. You will answer phone calls and messages, listen with patience, explain our services clearly, schedule visits, and make sure every family feels heard from the very first contact.
You will also coordinate the care calendar for our veterinarians, send visit confirmations and follow-ups, and help keep records accurate and up to date.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in veterinary technology, communications, or a related field is a plus.
Experience
Two or more years in client-facing roles — veterinary or medical reception, hospice intake, or similar settings where empathy and composure matter. Familiarity with veterinary terminology is helpful.
Qualifications
A naturally warm, unhurried phone presence; the emotional steadiness to support grieving callers; strong written communication; and comfort with scheduling and record-keeping software. Reliable home internet and a quiet workspace are required for this remote role.
Criminal Background Checks
All offers are contingent on a satisfactory background check, conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Physical Demands
This is a remote desk-based role involving extended periods of phone and computer work.
